2001 Toyota Tacoma SUCKS
I have never hated a car as much as this one, and it was not cheap. It's
very quirky: the (optional premium!) stereo is horrible, still has too
much bass with the bass turned all the way down, 80% of the sound is
concentrated below the beltline, and we've blown the right tweeter 3 times
in 30k miles of soft music. When you use the visors on the side windows,
every time you make a turn they hit you in the head (dealer: 'nothing we
can do, they're all like that'). If you leave the car in the 'on' position
w/ motor off for more than 2 mins. it drains the battery so you can't
start it (2 batteries so far). The car came with cheapo Firestone tires
but even with new Dunlop's it's horrible in the snow.....
