Engine began consistently
overheating around 2000 miles, transmission problems more than i could
ever count in several lifetimes, fixed the engine overheating problem, and
it surfaced again 6 months later, vehicle refused to start many, many
times, transmission, got stranded several times, and guess what?
Transmission issues galore - the late 80's Taurus' transmission was
completely flawed from the beginning, vehicle fell apart after 24k miles,
sent it to the junkyard and paid the d00d $100 to have it crushed into a
little metal block - best $100 spent!!!
