My 8 year old daughter broke her arm in the power sliding side door of my Chevy Venture Van.

The door is not equipped with any type of sensor that senses resistance upon opening. She had her hand on the door handle, and when it was engaged to open, it pinned her elbow against the back of the seat, and didn't stop opening until it broke her arm.
